How Window Film Is Installed?

While installation methods for window film are not the same across the board–they are similar from installer to installer. However, our tried and true signature installation process is part of the reason our window film company has been so successful. The first step is an onsite consultation. This is true of every job we do. This helps us flush out exactly which film is right for your Colorado Springs home. This is also when we take precise measurements that allow for precise pricing too. The next step is the actual installation. Since we cut all of our films in advance, the film is ready to go when we arrive. This is part of why our window film installation is so quick and seamless. This also reduces waste because we try to be as green as possible along the way. When we arrive at your home we clean your windows to prep them for film. After each speck of dirt and smudges are gone we then apply the film using a special adhesive. Finally, we squeegee out residual bonding agent and clean up your windows–examining for and fixing any defects or bubbles. The adhesive takes about 24 hours to set. However, to fully cure it takes about 30 days, so we recommend waiting a month before cleaning. *Be sure to use a soft cloth and ammonia-free cleaners from this point forward.
